If you haven’t ridden the all new Ducati Hypermotard yet then you might not understand what a life changing experience it is. From the amazing gravity cast mono-bloc Brembo calipers and 50mm Marzocchi front forks with DLC coating to the hard hitting low end torque that just begs the front end to skip across the ground only kissing it long enough to let you know it is still under you. It is hard to believe that a bike this good can get any better, but leave it to the service shop at Commonwealth Motorcycles to take an amazing machine to the next level! We have the knowledge and expertise to build a personalized Hypermotard to your exact specification. Whether you want to build a more top end capable track machine or an even harder hitting low end focused street bike, it is no problem for us!
We have a good stock of Ducati Hypermotards, both base and S models, as well as full systems and slip-ons. We are offering new 2008 Ducati Hypermotard 1100S in black or red with Termignoni full systems and Ducati Hypermotard 1100 in red with Termignoni under seat slip-ons.
We also have many performance parts in stock if you wish to build the bike into an even more impressive performance machine including: cams, +2mm intake and exhaust valves, lightweight flywheels, high compression pistons, tuning services, complete motor blueprinting services and much more.
Stop in or contact us via email: info@commoto.com for more information.

Steve McQueen Background Information
Steve McQueen was born March 24th 1930, in Beech Grove, Indiana. He became one of the most famous and iconic movie stars of a generation, synonymous with the term ‘cool’. Films like The Great Escape (which featured the stunt scene on a Triumph), Bullitt, The Getaway, Papillon, Nevada Smith, and The Sand Pebbles (for which he received an Academy Award Nomination), marked a big screen career spanning 27 years. An avid car and motorcycle racer, McQueen has been quoted as saying, “I am not sure if I am an actor who races or a racer that acts.”
Steve McQueen and Triumph were strongly associated, both when acting and when racing. In September of 1964 Steve McQueen was chosen as a member of the US team for the ‘International Six Day Trials’, the most challenging motorcycle event in the world. McQueen, riding a 650 Triumph, had to ride 200 miles per day, competing in a range of endurance and skill based events, through mountains, forests and rocky trails, against the best riders the world had to offer. 1964 event was held behind what was then the communist Iron Curtain in East Germany. Despite sustaining injuries that caused him to withdraw early from the event, his team managed to finish in second place and take home the silver medal.
