Multistrada Enduro Takes On The Barren Pines 500

The Rumors were true, we are getting a new SuperSport from Ducati! although the accounts varied from spy shots and insider information, what we know now, couldn’t be better. Great aesthetics derived from the Panigale with ergonomics for short and long rides alike. The Engine is based on the 937cc Testrastetta 11 degree, so no shortage on power.  It’s not hard to see why it has quickly become one of the most anticipated bike of 2017

In the SuperSport, you will find your perfect median between sport and tour. Ergonomics were at the top of the list when ducati designed this model. Excellent Foot position, even for taller riders, and a seat built for comfort not racing, that is what you will notice first. Then you will find the 3 riding positions. Urban, Touring and Sport. Knock it up to Sport and unleash the full 113hp, Peaking at 9k rpm. On the highway you will probably want a little more wind protection. The Windshield is adjustable up to 50mm. We will surely see a larger touring screen soon for those doing longer trips.

The Mighty S model is all this and more for the avid sport rider. The S comes standard with the Ducati Quick-Shifter, Ohlins fully adjustable suspension, and the rear seat cowl. these items are available separately for the standard model if the S is not for you. With ABS and traction control standard on both bikes, you cannot go wrong.

The new Ducati SuperSport pays homage well to its original form bought to the market almost 25 years ago. The crossover bike, somewhere in between superbike and Monster, part tourer, part Commuter. While the original is already a classic, highly desirable model. We’re betting the new SuperSport will live up to all these expectations and more.
